

I am a licensed psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience working with adults across a range of emotional, relational, and life challenges. I specialize in trauma-focused therapy, and in recent years have also focused my work on supporting neurodivergent adults.
Hi, I’m Elena. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have over six years of experience working with adults across the lifespan. I have had the privilege of supporting people during some of their most difficult seasons as well as longer seasons of personal growth. Our work together often focuses on navigating anxiety, depression, executive challenges, grief, relationship challenges, perfectionism, and major life changes. I’m drawn to thoughtful, self-aware adults who are capable in many areas of life yet internally may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or overly self-critical.
I take a warm, empathetic, and direct approach to working my clients. I believe that people can be incredibly resilient when they put their minds to it. My clients choose me because I'm warm, gentle, and help them to live authentic and fulfilling lives. I'm a licensed therapist (LCSW-C), a board-approved supervisor, and received my MSW from the University of Maryland SSW. I have extensive training in my areas of specialty, which are grief and loss, parenting, and anxiety.
I work primarily with adults facing challenges related to depression, anxiety, grief, illness, and relationships. While I've supported clients across all age groups over the past 20+ years, my focus is on helping adults navigate life's difficulties with a practical, strength-based, and solution-focused approach. I emphasize the here and now, exploring how past experiences, habits, and patterns of thinking may hold us back.
