

Welcome! I have spend the last 15 years sitting with people experiencing the greatest pain of their lives. Pain caused by past trauma and fears of the future. Pain caused by loss of a loved one, a job, physical ability and independence. Pain caused by a lack of confidence in themselves and others. All of this compounded by the fact that their ways of coping were no longer working. The alcohol, drugs, food, excessive work, relationships, sex, or the need to control were starting to do more harm than good.
My therapy style is centered on warmth, empathy, and inclusivity. Drawing from my extensive experience working with diverse populations, I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where everyone feels heard, valued, and understood. Everyone brings unique experiences, and my goal is to ensure that our work together honors your cultural, spiritual, and personal life story.
As your therapist I will work alongside you to help you learn to identify your emotions, learn healthy ways to express yourself, and healthy and effective ways of communicating with others. Together we will also identify your strengths as well as possible unhealthy thinking or behavioral patterns and how they relate to your everyday experiences and emotions.
Life can be very challenging at times. There are ups and there are downs. Obstacles can block our path to growth and change. We can feel that we are screwing everything up forever, but we must realize that we are just simply being human and going through the human experience. I believe that with support and guidance all of us can overcome any obstacle that life throws our way. I like to provide compassion, trust, and support to my clients so that they can feel empowered to face their obstacles and experience self-growth.
Taking the first step is not always easy nevertheless my experience has taught me that change and personal growth is always possible. I have worked with adolescents, adults, seniors and groups.

Hello! My name is Erin and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. With my extensive experience in the arts I have always celebrated the variety and creativity of people. In my most recent role working with people going through the judicial system, my belief that some of the greatest work can be accomplished when a person is provided a non judgmental and safe ear, has only strengthened.
I have several years experience counseling adults, couples and children in a variety of settings including community mental health, IHT, school based counseling and private practice. I specialize in treating couples, anxiety, depression, ADHD and adjustment to life transitions. My education includes a masters degree in counseling psychology from Assumption College and a master of science from B.U. with a concentration in neuroscience.
